Blairgowrie Home: Featured on Homes Under The Hammer
This project was a for large detached new build in Blairgowrie. The house was slated in 2017, and then we returned in May 2018 to complete the garage. We added some ornate slating detail to the garage to add a bit of a feature and create something bespoke for the client. This project was also featured on the BBC programme ‘Homes Under The Hammer’ meaning the world got to see some of high-quality work.
Eight New Builds in Stonehaven
For this project, we were brought on to help with the roofing of eight new detached properties in Stonehaven. Working with a Perthshire housebuilder, we slated the roofs for all the new-builds and helped create this stunning new street of homes.
Isle of Barra Renovation
Travelling to the Outer Hebridean island of Barra, we helped with the renovation of a Grade A listed old property. Initially built in 1815, it is among a small handful of properties still standing on the island from this period. This project was started in the second half of 2019 but unfortunately had to be put on hold for 2020 because of the global pandemic. However, we are looking forward to 2021 to carry on with the remainder of the roof and for you to see how it turns out.
Loch Shieldaig Project
This self-build property was completed in July 2020. On the banks of Loch Shieldaig, in north-west Scotland, the views from the roof are spectacular, and now the roofing is too. This particular roof had been belt and braces to cope with the elements and has fitted with natural slate, lead valleys and code eight lead ridging. The team worked had to get this project across the line, and we are all super proud of the result.
St Madoes Project
On the outskirts of St Madoes, we helped transform this Grade B listed building, dating back to pre-1860. Full of history, charm and character it was a unique roof with a strange property to its roof curvature. Because of this, it was a great challenge and a delight to work with.
